Professor Iadevaia has over 35 years of experience teaching the physical sciences from middle school to university levels.
He holds a Lifetime Professional Teaching Certificate from the State of Rhode Island in Secondary Physical Science with a Middle School Endorsement as well as a Lifetime Community College Certificate in Physical Science and Electronics from the State of Arizona.
Through the years he has designed and taught numerous workshops for teachers and summer camps for students. Dr. Iadevaia is not only an award winning educator (Tucson Trade Bureau Award 1984) but worked in industry for Raytheon Underwater Signal Division as well as an instrument specialist for the University of Arizona, MMT observatory.
He has used some of the largest telescopes on the planet...conducted SolarEclipse expeditions to the far corners of the Earth and explored the mysteries of ancient civilizations' astronomically aligned buildings.
He is a scientist, an educator, a pilot and sailor. He brings this vast experience to the students and teachers who will participate in the Student and Teacher Solutions program.
